Who We Are
Welcome to Myeco!
First of all, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks for placing your trust in our store of eco-friendly, handcrafted products. We are Leire and Carlos, two passionate Spanish entrepreneurs who have embarked on a journey to live life on our own terms, dedicated to creating high-quality, organic products that align with our values.
Our story began a few years ago when we moved to Australia, where we not only lived but also explored much of the Asian continent. These travels opened our eyes to diverse cultures and lifestyles, many of which were unfamiliar to us but deeply inspiring.
That time abroad sparked a significant shift in how we viewed life. We began questioning our own habits and aspirations, ultimately deciding to pursue a path that fosters a more sustainable and mindful future. It was during our time in Australia that Leire had the idea to create Myeco—a vision born out of a desire to merge ecological principles with craftsmanship.
Our journey to bring Myeco to life wasn’t immediate or easy. In the beginning, it was a slow, sometimes awkward process full of trial and error. We faced many challenges and failures along the way, but we persevered. With each step, we refined our approach and, after countless attempts, we finally launched our very first products.
Our first real test came when we decided to showcase our products at the markets in Sydney. While we already had some experience selling to the public from previous ventures, this time it felt completely different. These weren’t just any products we were offering—they were our own creations, born out of our vision and hard work.
It was at those markets that we discovered something truly rewarding: not only was it possible for people to appreciate what we were doing, but they embraced our work with the same excitement and enthusiasm that we put into creating it. Seeing customers genuinely connect with our products gave us the confidence and reassurance that we were on the right path.
Then came the global COVID pandemic, and like so many others, we found ourselves navigating an uncertain world. However, by that point, we had already returned to Spain, and our commitment to Myeco had only grown stronger. The challenges brought by the pandemic made us even more determined to push forward with our idea, and it was during this time that Myeco truly began to flourish as a company.
We owe a huge thank you to each and every one of you who shares our concern for the planet, who believes in the importance of making sustainable choices, and who supports small, eco-conscious businesses like ours. I’m all about creating beautiful, eco-friendly stationery that combines my love for design and nature. When I’m not knee-deep in paper and seeds, you’ll find me doing yoga, exploring new places, or talking to my plants (they’re great listeners!).🌻
Carlos
I’m the one behind the scenes, printing, cutting, and processing each order with care. When I’m not busy creating, you’ll probably find me hiking up a mountain, practicing yoga, or cooking up something healthy but mostly enjoying eating it! 🌿
