Planting Your Seed Paper
Myeco seed paper is crafted not only to reduce waste, but also to inspire a deeper connection with nature by transforming into vibrant flowers, fragrant herbs, or delicious vegetables.
We’ve put together these easy-to-follow instructions to help you get the most out of your planting experience. While factors like care, sunlight and soil quality can impact growth, each piece of paper is a unique opportunity to cultivate something special. Even if not every seed blooms, we hope you’ll enjoy the process of watching your paper come to life.
So, grab your gardening tools, plant with care, and let the magic of nature take over. Happy planting!
1. Prepare Your Pot
Find a small pot or a patch of your garden and fill it with rich, moist soil. Our paper loves to be surrounded by nutritious soil to help the seeds grow. Cut the paper into smaller pieces if needed to ensure it fits well.
Tip: before planting, soak the paper in water for a few hours.
2. Plant the Paper
Place the soaked paper on the soil and cover it with a thin layer of more soil. Make sure the soil covers the paper completely, but don’t press it down too hard, give your seeds some room to breathe.
3. Water Gently & Watch It Grow!
Water your paper-covered soil gently, keeping it moist but not soaking wet. This helps create the perfect environment for the seeds to sprout. Continue watering regularly, especially during the first few weeks. Make sure it gets plenty of sunlight! Flowers love the sun.
What Grows from Our Paper?
Crafted entirely from donated materials sourced from local schools and businesses, our seed paper helps save trees and reduce waste. We use only non-GMO seeds, free from pesticides, to ensure a safe and healthy way to grow vibrant blooms that support bees, butterflies, and other pollinators.
